I live in a small house. I have a tremendous amount of crap. I honestly don't know where it came from or how it fitted in before. Decorator coming between 8 and 9 this morning to do living room and kitchen. Up til 2 this morning sorting and clearing and lumping crap around. Back up at half 6 to finish the job. Sorted, just in time. Decorator has had a puncture and gonna be couple of hours late. #You are my sunshine, my only sunshine#

I doubt I'm entirely innocent, but for the most part I blame pixies. Dangerous, malevolent pixies.

The worst ones are the Wife Pixies and Daughter Pixies. Leaving clothes all over the place, buying dresses and shoes and bags and jewelry and make-up and toys. I've got one cupboard and half of it is full of Mrs Wife and the Ickles' stuff.

I live in a large house, I moved from a small house. When I moved into my large house it was empty, now I can't even get into the garage. I'm still struggling to find a reason why?

Girls. Mine have managed to fill up our apartment [90 sqm] and a house [200 sqm]. Six bedrooms, three bathrooms, two kitchens and a brace of living rooms full with their 'stuff'. And I'm the one blamed for being messy...

Because their stuff is in the cupboards stuffed and compressed while your meager posessions are out and about :D

I turned the smallest bedroom into a walk in wardrobe for the wife... she still manages to fill up the wardrobes in our room as well... she's a fashion designer so she claims professional privilege.

My Wife is just a woman but claims that's reason enough.

Kinda reminds me of someone that cleans before the house keeper comes so the place won't be messy. :)

From my experience with a decorator they want to see your normal clutter to better help design a space that works for you (providing it's just clutter and not a health hazard :) )

Common sense is admitting there is cause and effect and that you can exert some control over what you understand.
