Typical... I'm playing in a basketball tournament this weekend and have three games on Saturday, so I can't make it either.

True - which is why we don't drink it in Australia - not even sure they sell it in many places

That's ok. As someone who has a Jubilee on his currency for some reason, I know that weirder cult of personnality type of posts have occured in this forum recently. :-)

No worries, mate! He'll never hear it from me. I rather think that I'd get along nicely with Mick. He's my sort of iconoclast. Alas, I'll likely never have the chance to meet him, now that the Aussies have standards regarding who is allowed to visit. Damned uppity convicts...

Just hada yarn with Dan the man Neely hes a strange chap - for some reason he won't run australians over in his rental - i said about the insurance covering the costs, but he didn't think that he thought the average convict was worth the $250 excess. fair call i thought [edit] he isnt the best - bit of a stomach issue going on - I asked if he had been drinking australian beer because that would have done it. He denied said activity. Bryce he wont go to the rugby though - not a sports chap (!) Wonder how he'll get on with MM. (i did take the time to warn Dan about MM though)

Unfortunately, the only explanation that's coming to mind for my lousy morning has been shit happens. X| Hopefully I'll be over it by tomorrow.

I had the pleasure of visiting MM as his paltial digs in the upmatket side of Mt Druitt, where we partook in the imbibement of an apty named beverage, "Penguin Piss", brewed by said MM in celebration of his birthday. I found him eloquent and a very gracious host...For a convict. And I was well pissed when I went home! :-\

I barely remember you leaving and I do remember trying to jump the fence to yell bye. Failed miserably and fucked my leg up on the bricks. All was good though, I drank more beer and it was all numb.
