Doesnt exist really. Either we are thick skinned or the insults are just feeble. Take Limey. Yeah, so we ate limes, in order to stop our teeth falling out and getting scurvy. If you didnt, then having a face like a lepper is aa way worse deal. 'Rosbif', the famous french (cough) insult. An insult? To be named after one of the worlds greatest pieces of roast meat, form one of the planets biggest animals? How the fuck is that an insult? Hey, pile it on, just dont forget the horseradish sauce and yorkshire puds! I'll take that kind of insult all day! 'Pommy'. What is that? A french apple? Yeah, OK, that stung.... The thing is, you cant insult a race that conquered the world. Whose empire was the biggest ever. A nation whose sense of humour, and ability to take the piss out of themselves is second to none. Cant be done. So really there arent any. Sorry. :)

Limey is because British sailors had limes to ward off scurvy despite lemons being far, far more effective. This was because everyone who grew lemons hated the British and wouldn't let us have any. Apparently.

Nah, it is because lime went better with Rum, and Mint. It is well known the British are mad for mint. Fuck man, we were drinking Mojitos when the rest of the world thought a cocktail was a sexual act!

Well, the British generally go the colour of cooked lobster after a day in the sun! :) AFAIK Rosbif refers to our national dish, in the way we call the French frogs. Partly because they look like them but because they have a predilection for eating the things.

That isn't the origin of the rosbif insult, but the modern use. As for POHM (more correctly POHME - Prisoner Of Her Majesty's Exile), that is just one of a great many ideas as to the origin, none of which have much substance. The OED leans towards it being a contraction of pomegranate, although there are several suggestions to where that came from too.
