I went into a bakery in Glasgow today and pointing at the cakes I asked "Is that a doughnut or a meringue?". The girl behind the counter answered "No you're right it's a doughnut"

I thought that the joke would only work for those who are British are familiar with the Glaswegian accent. So I am glad to see a non Brit getting it :)
