If you are in no rush, you may want to wait for the iPhone 5, which may be out by October.

I don't, except the standard ones. However, today I used the bar scanner and was able to find something for less, somewhere else. -- cool. I know this technology has been around for a while but I'm simple minded and slow. Go easy with me. :)

Ha, it's Apple. They don't add anything much, but just expect you to pay for the name.

That seems to be the dream of all software developers now  Luckily, there's a class offered on it here this fall. Though, the way things are going I'll be done with the class long before it starts, hooray for having the syllabus posted early!

I use about 5, 6 different apps (other than the pre-installed ones) regularly, most of the free apps, I also have 2, 3 games that I paid for (I have advertisement in games).

I have used that. I often forget about it though. Others I use, g+ (social networking not allowed through work internet. Thankfully CP is not considered social networking:thumbsup:) Great Clips Check in (check wait times and check in) Direct TV (browes and record easily) Scottrade (easy day trades etc.) Pandora Slacker Radio (I go back and forth between Pandora and Slacker) Trulia OneNote Linc Games Games Games Games (I was using a SNES emulator for a while. Nice and easy to find ROMs for free. Emulators are free but if you use them alot pay the $2 as your saves are enhanced with it, i.e. non traditional saves are allowed) Games Thinking about using on{X} but it is tied to facebook and I hate facebook -on{x} allows you to schedule tasks based on location. Or something like that. For example: Action: Text my wife I am headed home when I leave work Banking Amazon Ebay Various "point" clubs (check points etc.)

Of all the apps I have the following are those that I use the most: When it is easier fo me to get a bus into or out of town, than to drive, I will use the app on my Galaxy S2 to find out when the next bus is coming. I have a decent red cross first aid app on my phone which I hope I will never need to use. I use winamp to listen to music. I use teamviewer to perform any maintenance on my computers at home while out of the house.

I don't even have a smart phone, just a plain cell phone. I haven't felt any pressing need to be using apps or any of the other stuff that would costs more $$. But, I reckon I am the exception, rather than the rule. :)

Just because the code works, it doesn't mean that it is good code.

Pretty much only Nokia Drive, and even that was pre-installed.

                                      utf8-cpp

No. Or yes, depending on the way you want to look at it. I don't own a phone that could run any programs and therefore also own no apps (how I hate that word). Outrageous, I know, but I somehow have managed to survive and feel great without those toys.

Don't count on it. It's just that we don't try to make such a big deal out of not needing a new toy.
