Linky not worky - I suspect the truncation bug. Did you mean this: Joseph Grimaldi[^] BTW: I never knew Wiki was case sensitive on page names! "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph\_Grimaldi" gives a result, "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph\_grimaldi" doesn't...

They were talking on the news this morning about a new design for the £5 note, and who's picture should be on the reverse. Currenbtly for example, we have Charles Darwin. The main rules are that they should be recognisable to many people, and dead. So who would you like to see on your money? Me, I'd vote for Jedwood. They may not be dead, but I see that as an opportunity, rather than a problem. :-D

If nothing else, "his invention of the modern day whiteface clown" should disqualify him from ever being mentioned again.

How about Tim Berners-Lee? Brian Cox? Someone intelligent who has done something worthwhile with their life, who can stand as a role model for children.

They fail to meet one of the key requirements, they're not dead ;P One of the front runners however is Alan Turing.

Don't blame me. I voted for Chuck Norris.
