I hope your next question is "How old were you when you had your first girlfriend?" :)

I started pre-Windows, but the first version of Windows that I used was 3.1. At the time, I wasn't able to do beta testing so I didn't get a chance to get my hands on Windows 1 or 2 (did anyone really?) My favorite was Windows ME ... just kidding. :)

Since I've been doing this crap since IBM DOS 1.1 was out, I got to experience Windows 1.0. I also remember playing around with IBM's TopView, and, of course, an Apple Lisa. Holy shit, I'm old!

3.1 for me, but all I remember is all the DOS6.11 boot disks I had for all the different configurations required to play different games. I didn't spend much time in Windows back then.

              I wasn't, now I am, then I won't be anymore.

I had some issues with NT4 drivers and the HAL file(s), otherwise it might have made my top 2. Windows 7 has been entirely stable for me... better than XP, which wasn't terrible. I was a DOS geek before Windows made it big. I was a freaking master tweaking AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS files to clean-up the lower 640K. No idea how many friends and neighbors PC's I saved.

I'm sure I remember playing around with Windows 1 or 2 but not sure - probably an invented memory; definitely used OS2 and Windows 3.
