I'm with Richard. I sat there and watched it for a minute or so, and it didn't do anything. It just sat there and looked like a bunch of textboxes...

Hm, that's really interesting. I do have a question though. How do you debug that?

Did you consider writing an article or something for it? Sounds interesting, and I'd be willing to give it a try, when I can get back my spare coding time (hopefully soon enough). And if it works well cross-browser (didn't test it, yet) it may actually be a nice alternative to CSS nightmare

That's almost as informative as your original post. If you think (and you obviously do) that this is something new and exciting then write an article round it and post it in the proper place. Then you may get some more reasoned and reasonable feedback. As it stands all I can see is a standard form with a few textboxes, so as a web designer or user I cannot get excited about it.

One of these days I'm going to think of a really clever signature.

The caret seems a bit fuzzy and slow-blinking.

Shirt-Tab doesn't work. One can Tab through the controls on a page for easy navigation. Shift-Tab should do the same, albeit in the opposite direction.

Sorry for bitching about that feature. Using FF 14.0.1 and Chromium on Ubuntu, both rendered the page as advertised

When I need feedback, I listen to Jimi Hendrix. The text boxes act like text boxes, and you successfully used them as inputs. If this is all HTML5 can bring, we've got that already. I have to say, you're already ahead of me though. Please, show us something cool! :)

It was broke, so I fixed it.

I bet you are thinking that the responses you got seem to be what you'd get from non-technical folks, correct? :-) Personally, I think that is reasonably impressive. Simulating browser form controls via html5/javascript I mean. It's analogous to DirectX/WPF rendering HWND-less window-controls. Good work there, man!

I see what you did and what you are saying. I think you should probably describe what you did for others to understand and illustrate why it is cool, good, and should be used. Give examples of what it is applicable to, etc.
