Look at this[^], just look at it. So that word is useless now. What would be a good replacement?

Do you read the dictionary in your spare time? I literally have no idea how you find this stuff.

Far worse than this is the overuse of the word 'actually'. It adds nothing and should be abolished.

That's actually a good idea. And actually actually has actual synonyms.

Literally, more and more sites are looking like the Urban Dictionary.

“We have tried spending money. We are spending more than we have ever spent before and it does not work. ...I say after eight years of this administration we have just as much unemployment as when we started…And an enormous debt to boot!” Morgenthau 1939 Secretary of Treasury

I find it quite funny how Formula One drivers overuse the words "obviously" and "honestly". You'll likely hear comments in an interview like this: "We obviously wanted to win but I honestly don't know what went wrong. We'll obviously have to analyse the data and improve the car for the next race which I obviously want to win. I can honestly say that the team is obviously doing a great job." This actually makes me literally laugh out loud every time. :-D

It is an odd word since it is used for 'now' and 'in fact', two quite different things. And yes, it is overused.
