Just curious. I have a little Sacha and John Digweed on, but just got homesick and was about to switch to AC/DC, but then started reminiscing and was then thinking of hitting Midnight Oil or dredging up some Radiators.

Alas, my kid is playing Lego Harry Potter on the XBox so I'm being subjected to a very repetitive tune... :sigh:

Beth and I were at a performance of Stockhausen's Mittwoch aus Licht[^] last night in Birmingham. It was completely barking mad and not at all my usual thing - but great fun nonetheless: The camel[^] World Parliament[^] Flying soloists[^] Steam powered stovepipe hats[^] Helicopter string quartet[^] Don't look up[^] Changed Through Music[^] I'm now back on my usual diet of hard rock/metal (AC/DC, Motorhead, Maiden etc.), thrash/folk (Jethro Tull, Skyclad or Clan Destined) or Romanian Gypy Punk (Gogol Bordello). Our next gigs are more in line with my usual taste: Alice Cooper at Halloween (get 'yer guillotine out!) and the following month it's Motorhead.

Kenneth, I have a set of 4 CD's with the classics from different time periods (the set had 10 CD's, but the time period 1854 through 1928 seems to have the music I like best - but I still like the Baroque as well). No interest in the MASM sieve? Dave.

That means you've missed Beethoven by 50 years or so :) That time period had musicians as Brahms, Grieg, Lizt, Debussy, Dvorak etc if im not misktaken.

 they do that. Great fun. Judas Priest live at the BIC last July was a huge party, but AC/DC live is be an another level entirely!

Just curious. I have a little Sacha and John Digweed on, but just got homesick and was about to switch to AC/DC, but then started reminiscing and was then thinking of hitting Midnight Oil or dredging up some Radiators.

cheers, Chris Maunder The Code Project | Co-founder Microsoft C++ MVP

I'm listening to the voices in my head. They don't have very good singing voices, but they have some great ideas about how I can "fix things"...
