Oops. Forgot to tell you. Figured I'd wait until August to find a car on a lot that the dealer wanted to get rid of to make room for the 2013s. I wanted an RS Camaro Convertible, 6 cylinder, cloth interior. In black or dark dark blue or dark dark gray. None of the dealers had one. :(( So I looked on ebay. An exotic car place in Dallas had one, almost new. Someone bought it in Memphis, drove it to Dallas, and traded it in on a Mini Cooper. 1500 miles. That knocked off about $7K from MSRP. Silly thing ended up costing less than my Sebring Limited 10 years ago. http://www.genjerdan.com/private/WP_000257.png[^] http://www.genjerdan.com/private/WP_000256.png[^] Vroom vroom.

Great looking car. But...but... there's something wrong with having a V6 in a muscle car. V6 twin turbo - in a pinch - but surely the law states that such a car must come pre-installed with a V8 with a wicked set of headers?

Not at these gas prices...too much mandated crap on the engines. So...it's not a muscle car. I just got it to pick up pretty hitchhikers and hang out in the parking lot of Home Depot on Friday nights. But the near-future '79 will be fully kitted out. There's enough room under the hood to actually do things.

Love these new camaros. I would get one very similar, just with leather. It would be a waste of time where I live though as there are only a handful of days in the summer that I could drive it top down. :Sigh:

          I wasn't, now I am, then I won't be anymore.

Yeah, the idiots who poured the driveway...poured the driveway without making smaller slabs of it. N-ai ce face. The ball was a victim of trying out the rear-view camera backing system. Surprisingly loud pop when I ran over it.

I rented a red 6 banger RS when I was on vacation last year. It was a surprisingly fun ride. My Jeep is faster, but the RS was pretty fun for the weekend.

I think we share same native language: "N-ai ce face". :)
