Next Tuesday I will be the proud owner of one of These[^] and one of These[^] They are Top Grade Leather Lay Z Boy Recliners. I have been sitting on Deck Chairs for - Wait for it - 14 Weeks! It will be nice to get my ample bottom snugly ensconced in a comfy sofa, nevermore to rise unless it absolutely has to. Our trouble was when we moved we decided to rent out the apartment, and in order to get someone in quickly we had to lease it as furnished, so left the old sofas (and everything else) behind. Still it has enabled me to get a new Bed, Fridge, TV, etc.

As a non-native speaker of your language, I'm looking to these posts for months. As I still find it hard to read your puzzles, I'm always confused about the answer. Nearly always I need to lookup the result in a dictionary. I hope that I will become better during the next years. ;) Congratulations :thumbsup:

No, Ground floor. I made sure of that when I bought it. There was no way I was carrying washing machines et al up flights of stairs!

No, Ground floor. I made sure of that when I bought it. There was no way I was carrying washing machines et al up flights of stairs!

No, the first floor is the one above the Ground Floor. (Yes, this has caused me problems when I stayed in the US for the first time.)
