Something that one person says does not allow you to take it out on everyone because they happen to live in the same country or are from the same ethnic group. How many times do you think we are going to see or hear of Iraqi people expressing their sympathy or condolonces? We are manipulated more by the media than most of us would care to admit.

Did you expect anything else? There will always be some people who celebrate bad things happening to America, and they will not be limited to Iraq. But that story reminds me of the media broadcasting Palestinians celebrating 9-11, only to admit later that it was old tape, and the celebration had nothing to do with 9-11. Don't believe everything you read or hear on TV, radio or the net. Heck, we even have people calling our local talk radio claiming that the US goverment blew up the shuttle just to divert peoples attention from their other problems (war in Iraq, dismal economy, etc.). Perhaps you want to blast us also?

Makes us louder and they see that and hate us more back and blah blah blah vicious cycle. I remember certain countries citizens dancing in the streets on 9/11. Even some here. What is worse is the fucks who should know better. This lady next to me in a queue yesterday said "This is good ammunition for our fight on the waste of our resources on space. All those starving children could do with the trillions spent at NASA." I could have turned around and given her a real earful, but she would have just smiled, patted me on the shoulder and invited me to a Sunday Church service to "better educate my doomed soul." That she walked out of the shop into a brand new BMW did not help. So she is not some unwillingly ignorant type. She is a willful ignorameous. I will bet very shortly this disaster will be used to de-fund NASA even more.
