Recently in a post here someone adviced me to remove that key from my keyboard, and I did it I have been almost a month without that key and I tell you that we dont need that key at all. No more pressing accidentally that key when formating your code or when pressing shift key. give it a try you wont regret.

Hmmm, I never actually thought about how little I use the Caps Lock key. I used to remove the three Windows keys because accidentally hitting them is a real pain in the neck and I rarely use them anyway. Soren Madsen

Three? I've never seen more than two  but my home PC's keyboard has a mode that disables those keys (primarily intended to prevent you from accidentally minimizing a full screen game by hitting them).

I code in binary, so I've removed all the keys except the numeric key pad, backspace, and enter.

ok then, you'll just need 10 keys apart from backspace and Enter :-)

I bought this[^] when ms first started to make them, then after a couple of years, several of the keys (Insert, Delete, Home, End, Page Up/Down, and the arror keys) started to become somewhat unresponsive. So I bought this[^], which drove me nearly insane - I even started to use Ctrl+C, Ctrl+X and Ctrl+V. Now I use this[^], and once more I'm able to type while holding the phone with my left hand.

I would rather they ditch the windows keys.

Need custom software developed? I do custom programming based primarily on MS tools with an emphasis on C# development and consulting. I also do Android Programming as I find it a refreshing break from the MS. "And they, since they Were not the one dead, turned to their affairs" -- Robert Frost

It does have the keys in the right positions - now take a close look at this[^] and tell me how to press the insert key. Then try to figure out how to press Ctrl+Insert and Shift+Insert ;)

Being this a programming forum I can't unerstand why haven't you created a small app that would allow you to deactivate the caps key. then, depending on your needs you could activate or deactivate the normal behavior.

Well, two of them are identical and bring up the Start Menu. The third is next to the right CTRL key and brings up a context menu (similar to right-clicking with the mouse). I consider the 3rd a Windows key because they were all introduced at the same time. Soren Madsen

I see. I forget about that one, I've never used it, never noticeably hit it on accident...and in fact the keyboard I'm on right now doesn't even have it. I code in binary, so I've removed all the keys except the numeric key pad, backspace, and enter.

Hmmm, I never actually thought about how little I use the Caps Lock key. I used to remove the three Windows keys because accidentally hitting them is a real pain in the neck and I rarely use them anyway. Soren Madsen

I use a keyboard that doesn't have them.
