Yep. It's not for the old guys with an age higher than 14. We belong to the old ones yet. Microsoft Design is for those who don't know what they do. Just clicky-clacky. So I think CodeProject has to follow. As long as the content doesn't change to kid-style I won't complain any more... :sigh: ... oh, damn it. Yes, I will! :-\

It is too hard to read, there are no indicators of a clicked link, light grey on white sucketh, it looks like it lacks culture. Has the design team been brainwashed by the Bland Machine? Wishy Washy Crapola that says "Oh, everyone is copying Microsoft - We want in on the action so that we can look exactly like every other shite site in the world and not have a distinctive look" This is not a site for muggles, it is a developers site, and most of us have a mouse and keyboard, reserving finger use for the enholdenment of coffee cups and bacon sandwiches. If they want to do a site for the tableteers then fine, but redirect them, do not spoil the beauteous and pulchritudinous site as it was at my close of play yesterday. Why do people assume Change Is Good? Change inevitably leads to extinction.

I keep thinking there is something wrong with my connection and it isn't loading properly. Then when I realise it is I have to hold my phone at arms length to read the thing. Hate it.

Well there are three kinds of people in the world: There are conservatives. They hate any change because they think it's evil. There are alternatives. They hate the conservatives and so they think change must be good. These groups are gregarious animals. They think what other tell them And last but not least there are those who can make up their mind on their own. Perhaps 10 percent of the mankind. Those people think change can be good but it mustn't be. This change is... Well Dave you said already everything about it. I don't have to repeat it. :)

Hey Andrei, Your survey doesn't show in the main list of open surveys, so only those who stumble on this particular message can vote. :) Anyone help Andrei get his survey listed on the main list of surveys? -EM
If enough members would subscribe, maybe we could ask Chris to do it. I've said it before and I'll say it now, it's not perfect and it may not help much, but it'll help get a rough idea about the new changes

Can anyone tell me where 'My Settings' has gone? A quote from an e-mail when I had forgotten, or thought I had, my password: "To change your details, including your newsletter subscription, email address and password simply login and then click 'My Settings' at the top left hand corner of the homepage." I must be blind because I cannot see it.

now it's under your username, pass the mouse over, the same corner, just under your username.
I'm brazilian and english (well, human languages in general) aren't my best skill, so, sorry by my english. (if you want we can speak in C# or VB.Net =p)
Thanks, I'm getting too old for this sort of thing. I ought to retire. I wish I could turn back the years and program as I used to. EAI 640/680 hybrid. One did not have to worry about background colour, font size/colour etc., the interface was a Teletype for the digital stuff and a huge dis-mountable patch panel for the analogue half.
