So, what's your point? You know how to fire employees that don't share your view points. Fire this.

my point is if you're in the business of providing a service to users and have the attitude that their opinions about what you deliver mean nothing to you, you don't belong in the business.

no, if they don't know how to deal with a user properly they have no value to my enterprise, none.

He's the boss, he can do that (in most states). In California, he' have to present well-documented proof that the employee needed to be fired, which could take as long as a year, and potentially take his company down in the process. Then, he'd probably still have to pay his lawyers to fight the inevitable wrongful termination lawsuit... I believe the final note would be "yadda yadda yadda..."

CP users - drug addicts. Seems not to far away to me. I'm getting my fix at the moment.

The 1 user complaints are usually from the most powerful and important users and always get fixed. Whereas multi-user complaints are usually from the less powerful so don't need to be fixed.

I'm sure Chris and crew are working on changes, fixes, and enhancements. Having 50+ members crying about the same damn thing isn't going to help anything other than pissing off the rest of us. Ultimately, if you don't like it that much, then go somewhere else. Kind of a no-brainer if you ask me. :wtf:

Might help to set priorities though. If 50 people don't like A and 1 person doesn't like B then A might be a better choice to work on than B.

I haven't seen anything here that would suggest that people are not allowed to express opinions.

"Sound like"? We are users, which is why we should provide detailed information about what we do and don't like, for the hamsters to assess and make decisions on. That's what my users do, and I'm always happy to receive such input. Moaning and griping, and just saying "I don't like it!" without giving specific details that can be used by the hamster support department is a waste of time, but stating "I don't like this, and this is why" or "I'd prefer this" can only be helpful. The fun bit about it being a web app is that we get to watch it evolve and change in real time. That's cool, and worth a bit of iffiness.

Maybe I should quit based on what you have said. I will put my house, cabin, boat, cars, and all my other expensive toys out on the market for sale because I am obviously in the wrong business. You are a developer first, a user second. Quit acting like a user. ;)
