I agree with you completely Megan. This is just a little too messed up in the head. Regards, Brian Dela :-)

Yeah, exactly. He's just a single nutter saying stuff that nobody else agrees with, but I'm sure it'll create more racist hatred from people too dim to know the difference :( -- Help me! I'm turning into a grapefruit!

I doubt if Islam itself is the problem - it's *some* (definitely not all) of the followers who are the problem. Similarly things people don't like about Christianity usually come down to people who proclaim they are Christians, without actually practising love for the people around them.

Still, as long as Jerry Falwell is allowed to speak freely the media should concentrate on him and leave this poor muslim guy alone. "Any clod can have the facts, but having opinions is an art." Charles McCabe, San Francisco Chronicle

... Mr Hamza, who until recently preached at Finsbury Park mosque :omg: Preached ?? :wtf: I can't imagine thinking someone who speaks so insentively can have followers. Looking at that guy, I have only one thing to say, instead of his one hand and eye, its his voice that should have been deprived from him.:mad: Carved upon my stone, My body lies but still I roam...

How can anybody take this guy seriously? Could he look any more like a bad guy from a Bond movie ;-) I thought we'd kicked his ass out of the country already. Michael The avalanche has started, it's too late for the pebbles to vote.

Actually, it was the British government which banned him. Some Muslims have a low opinion of him, too (though not all). News of the looming ban drew differing reactions from the spectrum of British Muslim opinion. The head of a mosque close to Mr Hamza's said the cleric was driving worshippers away, while the head of an Islamic human rights groups said the ban was unfair. One Muslim outside the mosque described him as "that idiot". BTW, Richard Reid (the Shoebomber) went to this guy's Mosque. http://society.guardian.co.uk/charitieslaw/story/0,10460,878478,00.html[^] ------------------------------------------ "Isn't it funny how people say they'll never grow up to be their parents, then one day they look in the mirror and they're moving aircraft carriers into the Gulf region?" - The Onion
