Wow, new look, new people. Same great place. Hi Trollslayer, Pete, Christian (He's Tasmanian), Nish, CPALINI, Gary, Tox, Jim C., Jon, and the many others I have known and known well through the years. I'm going to try and hang my hat here again and be more involved. I think in the time that has gone by I've learned more than I know but then... I didn't really know that much so I'm not making much of a boast. Hi from Boise, Idaho (it's a foreign country in the United States, hardly recognized except for... wait for it... here it comes... {deep sigh}: rarely recognized for much besides potatoes. X| But now you can say you know of Idaho because of code-frog and that has to carry weight somewhere... maybe...

There have been joys too great to be described in words, and there have been griefs upon which I have not dared to dwell, and with these in mind I say, climb if you will, but remember that courage and strength are naught without prudence, and that a momentary negligence may destroy the happiness of a lifetime. Do nothing in haste, look well to each step, and from the beginning think what may be the end. - Edward Whymper Climb On!

Potatoes aren't that bad! I can think of many, many things worse than potatoes. Parsnips for example. Celery - an anti-food. The "T" word - can't use the actual word here or my Bacon Licence is revoked, but it also contains an 'F', and 'O' and a 'U' And think of it, there are so many things you can do with spuds: Boil, Mash, Fry, Bake, Roast, Fondue, Sauté, Chip, Hash browns, And use as ammo in spud guns, and catapults!

Tofu is nice, it does not hide the pork product of your choice (*) ;P (*) I don't really like smoked bacon (or any other smoked food items) , but all other pork products are yummy.

I remember watching that movie when I like 7. It was surreal to see Boise in a Major Motion Picture. I don't even think we have made a COPS episode. I think "Moving" was our only appearance on the Big Screen. Although... Jewel is ours, she is a Boisean ... kinda.

We actually have survived and left behind my daughters critical care days. She still has a lot of issues but none are life threatening. They do threaten her comfort daily but aside from that life is well. Thank you for asking.

X| But now you can say you know of Idaho because of code-frog and that has to carry weight somewhere... maybe...

Actually, I know of Idaho for another reason than potatoes. Once upon a long time ago, there was a company in Idaho called Cougar Mountain Software, and the sold a complete accounting package for $99. Real accounting, mind you, not the fluffy phony crap that Quicken and Quickbooks use. Double-entry, ledgers and registers and journals, and end-of-period trial balances and all that fun stuff. It was the last truly useful accounting software I've seen at a fair price, and when I called for help, a programmer answered the phone and helped. :-D
