My bathroom breaks might be a little more frequent for it, but at least I'm metabolising properly! This "joke_id=3916" in the address bar makes me worry a little about the people who posted it - under what influence (Coke doesn't bring halucinations as far as I know) would a person find that funny?

That is about 10 times more hazardous than Coke-syrup. A T-Bone steak put in it will dissolve in about 4-6 hours. Nice eh?

I agree Coke is terrible for you, but if you think Pepsi is any better for yourself, I really feel sorry for you. All pop is bad for you, Pepsi is just as bad for you as Coke. Drink water or coffee, or better yet beer! :)

I drink Coke to cleanse my blood of bad humors... actually, this one sounds damn good: 7. To bake a moist ham: Empty a can of Coca-Cola into the baking pan, wrap the ham in aluminum foil, and bake. Thirty minutes before the ham is finished, remove the foil, allowing the drippings to mix with the Coke for sumptuous brown gravy.

Too long in the oven, and the Coke fumes may dissolve the foil. It's not bad, but some find the metallic aftertaste a bit annoying... some of the coke statements are considered untrue (police "in many states" carrying them to remove blood, dissolving teeth), and many of them (like dissolving meat) work as well with fresh 100% natural orange juice.

The next time you're stopped by a highway patrolman, try asking him if he's ever cleaned blood stains off a highway with Coca-Cola. If you're lucky, by the time he stops laughing he'll have forgotten about the citation he was going to give you. Now there's a good idea!! You can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friend's nose.

This is mostly bogus... Coke doesn't cause dehydration, its mostly water.. also, the caffiene theory is bunk. If you drink 1 cup of water, you'll rehydrate yourself with half of it. If you drink 1 cup of coffee you'll rehydrate yourself with 1/3 of it. The difference in real world terms is hardly significant. Take into consideration that the 8 8oz. glasses of water theory is beyond what we really need, it's pretty hard to imagine we're dehydrating. On top of that there is water in the food we eat, which helps to account for more. Oh, and most people are inactive, thereby allowing them to keep more of their fluids because they aren't sweating them out... It is entertaining though :) BW "Gandalf. Yes.
