My last employers made me feel about as welcome as their rats in their basement. It was time to move on and that's why I did not mind the end at all. Monday I have a meeting with my new employer. One who explicitely expects me to do all those things I was previously not allowed to do.

At least you have a Janitor to compare to. At my last company, when a toilet broke, or a light bulb needed changing, it was the developers who did it. Apparently we were the only one's intelligent enough to understand such advanced concepts as electricity and plumbing.

At least you have a Janitor to compare to. At my last company, when a toilet broke, or a light bulb needed changing, it was the developers who did it. Apparently we were the only one's intelligent enough to understand such advanced concepts as electricity and plumbing.
