Really awful. Just before I left one of the players was pretty abusive to both the Referee and the audience, you could smell the alcohol on his breath and he started letching on a girl half his age.He'd pretty obviously taken a bung to throw the match. I wasn't putting up with it, so I decided to go. Just before I left, it was his turn. The white was hard to cue, so he asked for the spider. The ref, obviously hacked off refused. The player asked again, no avail. The player got angry and insisted on getting the spider. Still, no rest for the wicked.
Sort of a cross between Lawrence of Arabia and Dilbert.[^]
