    I wonder if Tarsky or Kripke would agree. In any case it's also the case that Lies are Lies no matter how old you are. In fact it's generally true that 'X' is 'X' no matter how old you are for all values of 'X'. :-D

      Haunted Houses may seem like fun but take a moment to think of what these are imitating. Haunted houses frequently contain imagery of demons, torture, monsters, etc.. What kind of parent thinks this is ok? Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things.

      I understand your viewpoint and agree with the Scripture passage. I disagree with your application in this case. I saw a family come together and spend quite a bit of time together to put on a free show for the neighborhood. I think those kids are going to have very fond memories of their time scaring adults and being delightfully silly. What I saw is a whole lot of pure, lovely, and admirable in what these people were doing. I've been a Christian most of my 45 years. I'm getting tired of other Christians bashing the efforts of others all the time. I don't expect the world to produce perfection (and frankly, it don't expect that from me either) - I'll applaud the excellent and led the bad slide.

                                  Pretty sure most parents of all cultures allow and often encourage play that emphasizes imagination. I would also suspect that any parent that significantly restricts imagination is probably going to produce a child that is at best abnormal.
