Our Commercial Manager has thrown in the towel and has decided to jump ship. I immediately sent my CV off to the outside world in hope of getting a better job. He is the best man in that role in the 15 years I have been here, and his reasons for leaving are fully understandable. I am no longer confident in the long term prospects of the company, but still hope to get a 10% pay rise in a couple of weeks. (Leaving my CV around may encourage them to be 'Proactive' in the salary negotiations that are about to ensue!). Here's hoping!

Good luck either way it works out. :thumbsup: Not saying this is the case, but we had a fellow who let it be known that he was seeking work else where unless he got a raise. The manager obliged him by providing him with more time off from work, permanently.
It was broke, so I fixed it.

I would love to work with him in his new company, and he said that I will be getting a bit of Contract Work as he wants to change how it operates into how I have set up the operation here, so although I may not get a permanent job with him, I think a few £K will be in the offing.
