Well, I haven't gained any weight. I checked my body fat percentage on the navy calculator again, and so far I've lost body fat since last time I did it (which isn't saying much because It's been a while). I made it through thanksgiving without gaining any weight :D I started out doing the p90x lean routine and running 3 miles after the workouts. Now I'm doing the cardio every morning, and doing the lean workout.. with the exception of the cardio. On cardio day I do plyo, since I already do cardio every morning. If my brothers are down we will do focus mits and thai pads instead of cardio, kenpo, rest, etc. So I haven't been to the gym since the week (and a half) before my fight. It will be at least Feb. before I go back. I was worried at first that p90x was not challenging enough or that as a result of that I'd gain weight. I've actually made some strength gains already, and been eating like crazy without gaining weight. My goals have changed some. I'd like to put on some muscle mass (so long as I stay lean while doing it, so it'll be slow). It's been nice having the family time. I actually save quite a bit of time just working out at home. The prep, driving time, etc of the gym was a lot. I also am saving a bunch in gas that I didn't realize I was spending. How bout that. [I just saved a ton of money by switching to no car insurance]. Best thing is the family time though, and they are all even doing the workouts with me :D (Wife is getting over adjusting from 3 days a week exercise to 6, but we are still doing it together) I have to be careful. If I keep this up I'll be normal soon >,<

It's important to maintain balance. Try to pick up a drug addiction or a gambling problem to round out your life.

I hadn't thought about that. How about I start out with gambling, and progress to a drug addiction if necessary? I don't want to commit to either right away though.

No that's the wrong way round. You need to start the drug addiction first, I reccomend Speed as it will help you maintain a slim physique and give you the 'get up and go' to continue with the working out. The gambling has to come later as an attempt to support your drug addiction.

^ This. I'd only add that your strong family ties may make this process difficult. Toss in an affair, back over the family dog - do something to break those ties.
