Looking out of my office window, I see a beautiful landscape covered by snow and illuminated by the morning sun shining from a clear blue sky. But driving to work was horrible. The melted snow from yesterday has turned into ice over night covering everything including the streets.

Lucky you - we had 20 cm just during the night. Good thing that I love the winter. Everybody else here is already cursing the snow, and we'll probably have at least 4 months of winter left (unless Punxsutawney Phil happens to venture out into the snow without seeing his own shadow)

Had a hell of a job scraping ice off my windscreen this morning, it was the stuff that freezes clear and freezes hard. No sign of snow though, and a bright and sunny albeit chilly morning so far.
