A new app from NASA lets players design and model a deep space communications network, and/or a near-Earth network for command and control of multiple space platforms. It can be played online, or downloaded for separate play[^]. Looks like more fun than super-netting the office LAN with Page3! :-D

No. If you pass the test the next thing you will hear is this: "Greetings, Starfighter. You have been recruited by the Star League to defend the Frontier against Xur and the Ko-dan armada."

And then you get canceled after the second series, when you are about to die between galaxies, yes.

These NASA guys, seems that have nothing else better to do... :)... As a side note, i see they have 3D models for several satellites and spaceships on that page, i didn't thought they were available for the public. :omg:

Nope, you will be sent in a 5 years trip in suspended animation to a planet where the most advanced civilization is a race of blue oversized humanoid cats. ;P

Played this game, but it's too easy. I need more challenging scientific games, like Fold.It

Does it get the identification of the space platform correct - I'd expect them to be quite a bit smaller than Everest so obviously harder to identify ;)
