I have posted an article on codeproject some time back, here is the link for that article. Showing File Upload Progress to the user using UpdatePanel control in ASP.NET[^] Now someone commented on my article that it was copied from the following link: http://dotnet4hosting.asphostportal.com/post/ASPNET-Hosting-ASPHostPortal-Showing-File-Upload-Progress-to-the-user-using-UpdatePanel-control-in-ASPNET.aspx[^] but infact this site has copied my article from codeproject. Could someone please let me know what is the codeprojects policy if someone else copies articles from here and paste them on their sites?

This is common unfortunately. These sites steal content, but Code Project is good at setting the lawyers on these sites.

The OP's article is dated Dec 17th. The article on the other site is dated Nov 6th. Of course it's trivial to set a past date for a blog entry. But just thought I'd bring this to your notice.

I looked at the HTML on the 3rd party article and it sure looks like they copied the HTML off CP. And then used an older date to make it look like the OP stole the artcle off them.

Looking at the article's revision history, it was originally published on Code Project on Oct. 11, 2012.

Ah, my mistake. With all this Metro re-design, I missed that. But I blame Chris for this. :-)

The "just kidding" was not needed - that was fairly obvious.
