I joined new company few weeks back. And already got bored working here. No one talks to other person whole day. Every one is like Robot. Now am regretting my decision of changing job. :sigh:

Why don't YOU talk to people, start discussions on work related topics ... Anyway, the grass is always greener on the other side.

That and peace and quiet can be a real bonus - I worked in one company where developers worked in three out of four offices on the same corridor (the last was a meeting room). Two room of them had music wars going and you couldn't hear yourself think most of the time.
If you get an email telling you that you can catch Swine Flu from tinned pork then just delete it. It's Spam.

I am in the same situation as you, no one talks to me either, because I am the only person in the office (I have a start-up company with just me in it :) ). But I actually like the silence, so that I can work on the product with full concentration.

Every office has coffee, and the coffee-machine is the ideal place for a non-smoker to start a conversation. Developers usually need to focus on a task. Less distractions means less interruptions :)
