SET RANT ON If you have an UltraGrid on a form, and you open the form in the designer, for some crazy reason it changes the designer code - so it's automagically checked out for source control. AHHHHH SET RANT OFF

If it's not broken, fix it until it is

Using Infragistics a vital part of the development process. With it, we learn to turn 1-hour tasks into 4-hour headaches and create code that can only be maintained by the truly elite and infinitely patient. One day, the tough, manly side of you will learn to appreciate the pain Infragistics causes you (if the nice men in white suits don't drag you off to the happy farm first). It is well worth the thousands that your company paid for the site license.

LOL, so true. We looked at the code for a grid column. Just the column, not the grid. It has 60,000 lines of code!!! No kidding.

If it's not broken, fix it until it is

hehehe We are using Infragists, and we utterly hate it. I have used Telerik alot and I love it. Great set of controls, well developed, with awesome support. Complete opposite of Infragists.

I like DevExpress controls myself. They are very easy to use, and the DevExpress support team is very helpful and gets answers very quickly.

Try to get help from their help site. http://www.infragistics.com/help/[^] *snicker* Mind you they will only respond if you use the language of idiocy and ask questions that have obvious answers. Actual questions and support can go to the forums so all of the other ticked off customers can help you

I gave that up a long time ago. Apparently the word "Help" has a different meaning to them than it does to me.

Why the complaint? You are getting what you paid for. Mega bucks for lots of code. I can't think of a better deal. :)
