From another newspaper belonging to the World Communist Conspiracy against the Good, the International Herald Tribune: Bush looks to religion as a way to help U.S[^] I fear in a few months GWB will begin to have visions. I hope he won't have the same as Saint John.

I can't see what wrong with a theocracy anyway. As long as the keep religion out of it. Regardz Colin J Davies

'... help America fulfill its vision of justice and prosperity for all.' Who is all? I fear it means 'for all Americans'. 'Cause I can't believe current US government would include people 'not being for us' in their prosperity plans. And what do US religious leaders say to US plans of an Iraqi invasion, under which surely the Iraqi population would suffer most of all. Does this accord with justice for all??

I heard a discussion on the radio recently that something like 50% of people in the House of Representatives believed in creationism and think it should be taught as a fact in schools in the US. They were talking of people who seriously believed that the earth was created something like 10000 years ago. Debbie

They guy speaks with a religoius group and that means we are becoming a theocracy? What would you have him do? Arrest them for defying the moral authority of the state? "Any clod can have the facts, but having opinions is an art." Charles McCabe, San Francisco Chronicle

Bush said: When a suburban church and an urban church become full partners, great things can happen  It seems that the ancient little cowboy used to drink liquids from his mother's perfume bottles, while she was missing for the Sunday Mass. IMHO, the best way of having a link between Bush and religion is this one[^]. All the rest is cheap propaganda, attempting to help America fulfill its vision of justice and prosperity for all . rechi

Arrest them for defying the moral authority of the state? That would be a good start. All those idiots like Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, et.al. should be sentenced to life in prison.

From the article: "But governments can and should support effective social services provided by religious people, so long as they work, and as long as those services go to anyone in need, regardless of their faith" "Declaring that discrimination against religious charitable groups should end, the president said, "If a charity's helping the needy, it should not matter if there's a rabbi on the board or a cross on the wall or a crescent on the wall or a religious commitment in the charter."
