Anyone shine a LAMP on this?

For some reason, CP is starting up every day with New Articles/LAMP as the main feature. Have they decided to push us away from the Windows stack onto the LAMP stack? I think we should be told!

It seems to have resolved itself. No idea what happened there. I was using the same shortcut I've always used, so cannot see why it would change.
