What is your game console progression?

Evolution of home video game consoles[^] My progression: Pong > Atari 2600 > ColecoVision > NES > Super NES > Playstation > Wii I didn't have an IntelliVision, but played it often at a friend's house. This list brings back a lot of memories. Today, I only have a Wii. In general, I don't do much gaming anymore (no time!). It would be interesting to see other people's lists of game consoles. There are many on that list that I never actually heard of!
I have always wished for my computer to be as easy to use as my telephone; my wish has come true because I can no longer figure out how to use my telephone - Bjarne Stroustrup The world is going to laugh at you anyway, might as well crack the 1st joke! My code has no bugs, it runs exactly as it was written.
I never owned one, but I played my cousin's Super NES often, otherwise: Nintendo 64 -> Gamecube -> Wii -> XBox 360 -> PC Plus the handhelds: Gameboy -> Gameboy Pocket -> Gameboy Color -> Gameboy Advance -> Gameboy Advance SP -> DS -> 3DS I still have all the consoles, and at least the last two of the handhelds (I think, but I'm not sure, that I still have my GBA SP around). Most of my XBox 360 games have been replaced by their PC counterparts thanks to Steam making them so cheap I don't mind buying them twice, so it's basically just used for watching Netflix on the TV, the rest aren't hooked up.

NES -> Sega Master System -> Sega Genesis -> SNES -> Playstation -> N64 -> Playstation 2 -> XBox -> XBox 360 + Kinect -> Wii -> WiiU. Damn ... i need a girlfriend or at least another hobby.
Don't comment your code - it was hard to write, it should be hard to read!

nintendo from start up to the Wii, xbox from first gen to xbox 360. Also pc gamer sometimes.

Well, yes, but then you have kids and start the cycle all over again! I had no game console after about 1998 or 1999, but then a couple years ago got a Wii for the 'kids'. ;)

NES (it still works) > XBox 360 with Kinect (a gift, I couldn't refuse)

Pretty much the same, except I went the Sega Master System > Megadrive/Genesis route, rather than Nintendo (but I did get an N64, which I think was vastly underrated, at the same time as a PS).

(...late 70s...) Radio Shack TV Color Scoreboard (still usable) Atari 2600 (friend's) Intellivision (friend's) (...nothing new until early 90s...) NES (rescued from dumpster and repaired by yours truly) Gamecube (in use) Wii (in use) (...early 2000's...) XBox 1st gen, the green Halo edition (in use) XBox 360 Elite XBox 360s (Halo 4, my kid and I are addicts to the franchise :-O ) Oh yeah, within the timeline I managed to get my hands on an Atari Flashback 2 and a Tandyvision 1 (Intellivision rebranded) over Ebay. -- RP
