Beard cutting Amish gets 15 years People have gotten out in far less time for Murder,rape etc.. Some "justice" system we have sometimes. I understand the terrorized aspect of it as they are deeply tied to their religious beliefs, but holy scissors, more time for cutting a beard than for killing people... He mite get out in 2 years for good behavior and becoming a Christian. Excommunication could have been another option for the judge, given there belief system.
