Does a CodeProject administrator ever take action to delete accounts for chronic spammers like "dsadsdfsfd" that continually post notices of streaming video sports events in the Quick Answers area?

Yes, but not as aggressively as I'd like. Things are improving though.

Yes, all the time. If you find one that hasn't been hammered, report it in the Spammers forum with a link to the offending account/message.

You can report the account yourself, go to their profile and look for the little red flag. 5 reports and the account is closed automatically.
Right now it seems to take seven or eight reports to close an account.

Thats true.. they gained high resistance because of the continuous reporting. and that's the main reason they choose the same name again n again.

Yes we do, but we're just a few, and there are millions of you. Report the messages, report the spammers. It only takes a handful of reports to close an item. We've given you the power. Use it wisely. And liberally.

Thank you. May the force be with us. I just asked myself - what would happen if there are spammers starting to report the people who report the spammers? Would this become sort of a reporting-war? I certainly hope they never get this intelligent to do so....
