Could well be. I've been on the edge of buying one of the Google Nexus tablets (correct pricing at decent spec), but the lack of SD cards has been a killer. With a bit of luck the HTC/Ubuntu combo will release what I want.

Why are the counters different on both sites (Ubuntu currently showing something about 5 hours left, HTC page says there are 3 hours left...) Reopened firefox and the bug was gone.

Somehow reopening Firefox helped to get rid of the issue, thanks anyways.

I really like of size of the Nexus 7, if it a similar size/weight + price + spec + SD then it will be really tempting

Interesting. It would be nice for a Linux OS to make it in a standard consumer sector. (Android nearly counts but I think it is too opaquely covered for anyone to feel like they know how to use Linux.)
