And he is probably referring to the infamous "elephanting/sunshine" posting by said Michael Martin. But still just a guess.

For some reason, this thread made me think of this[^]...
The United States invariably does the right thing, after having exhausted every other alternative. -Winston Churchill America is the only country that went from barbarism to decadence without civilization in between. -Oscar Wilde Wow, even the French showed a little more spine than that before they got their sh*t pushed in.[^] -Colin Mullikin

Possibly the post with most upvotes, except for stickies. And so far it has gained seven more so far today.

Nish used to start mass reply threads. I forget the highest count. he is too professional now to take part in such silliness nowadays. :)

There have been so many posts in the Lounge that have interested me, intrigued me, led me to fascinating resources related in many fields I am interested in (science, art, technology, psychology, neuro-science, history), fascinated me, been helpful personally, as well as technically, and reflected experience, tempered with compassion and wisdom: I'd find it hard to pick any one Lounge post as the most excellenct, but I would say, that, over the years, the posts by Pete O'Hanlon, AspDotNetDev, Roger Wright, Ravi Bhavnani, Gary Wheeler, Abhinav S, Marc Clifton, Nish Sivkumar, Espen Harlen, Hans Dietrich, Daniel Vaughn, Josh Smith, leppie, Christian Gauss, Harold Aptroot, and many others ... stand out in my mind. And, I certainly miss the (once frequent) presence of Luc Patyn ! Some of Dalek Dave's posts, where he has "let loose" his deep knowledge of biology, and science, as well as his unmatched linguistic prowess, and ensorcelling wit, have also been highlights for me. Even though my instincts tell me that he is "nosferatu," and needs a stake driven through his heart :) yrs, Bill
