      I agree, a numeric sort then works to put dates in order. Though I like yyyyMMdd a little more.

        Ironically, the dates in the alt caption are written as DD/MM/YY. I wonder whether Randall did it on purpose.

          Thats how I store all my pictures, videos, music and my bands recordings. So much easier to find my most recent work, right up top when I sort by name in reverse order.

          It was broke, so I fixed it.

            Great minds think alike. It's how I timestamp all of my output files at work. Surprisingly, there was no standard or effort to create one before me.

                The dashes in yyyy-MM-dd make it a lot easier to read individual parts of the date in the middle of a big list. Makes it much easier to do a visual scan. I like dashes.

                  Personally, I prefer underscores if I must. I do put an underscore after my date and before my time.
