Our very own Yoda is another year old. Hope there's still plenty left in the old fool.

I thank you. When you get to my age though, you tend to start ignoring them.

You're younger than 'Enery! I know the feeling, I try to ignore them myself most of the time, but Herself tends to remind me... (Her ex-husband believed that if no-one remembered it, he wouldn't get older... So she also has "happy get-older Iain day" and refuses to ignore 'em for any one...)

Yoda never gets old. He just becomes more mature. I heard that young chicks dig mature geeks. Good luck Mr. O'hanlon. Happy Birthday!

 And on a side note, today is my father's birthday. Sadly, he is having a lot of back pain due to a pinched nerve caused by a malformed disc in his spine.

I haven't forgotten, just been distracted with Ruby on Rails. But I sure could use working on a creative project. The last 2 months have been nothing but drudgery and frustration, migrating a Rails website to the latest version, and me learning all this technology at the same time. I'm beginning to get a sour taste in my mouth for duck typing languages. On a positive note, and for a side project, I implemented a simple forum in Ruby/Rails, I'm curious to try it in ASP.NET and see if it's as painful an experience. Marc
