What the hell am I going to use for RSS reader then? The Google Reader was nice. Oh well, I was scared of this as the Reader kept moving off the Gmail menu bar forcing more clicks to get to it. I use the Android Google Reader too, oh well. :( [update 2013-03-15 9:14am PST] Found this good article that somes up the options for us disgruntled Google Reader users http://gizmodo.com/5990540/8-google-reader-alternatives-that-will-ease-your-rss-pain[^]

So far, I'm liking Feedly[^] (in List format anyway). It supports most of the same keyboard shortcuts, and doesn't seem to be hammered like many of the other alternatives. Plus, you can log into it with your Google account, and all your saved items and feeds are lined up.

I'll be honest, I read the subject and figured this was something that our Dalek was posting.

Yeah, at least someone got my hidden reference. I have been catching up with the six seasons available on Netflix.

Yes, I've just given it a spin. Looks nice. :) No Windows Phone client though, unfortunately. :(

Google reader?!? Mwahaha! Opera does this too, since around 10 years, and far better in my opinion. Opera works on any platforms and is a true app, running on the metal, with good search and performance. OK, true, I don't work in an internet café, so I don't need a browser based rss reader like the Google reader thing. But who really needs such a thing? If you used it, why did you use it after all? This was an easy laugh.

I've already shifted to Feedly who are creating a Google Reader compatible API and have already set themselves up to allow people to easily migrate, just log in with your google account and they do the rest. Liking it so far, even in the very pictury (is that a word?) mode

Haven't used Google reader in yonks. I recommend feedly.com, particularly for their gorgeous iPhone, Android, Firfox and Chrome clients. http://www.feedly.com/[^] It's. Going. To. Be. OK.

NewsVibe had got its capabilities from BlogLines, when it was bought over by it. Try the original, its still awesome.
