Well, hopefully last time this year. I know I live in the mountains of Switzerland, but still, isn't it supposed to be spring in two days? Anyway, they didn't clean the street the morning, so had half a day at home, basicly blocked (street was too icy). At lunch time, decided to go to office. Forget using the car, road is still icy, so I had to take public transport (perfectly on time, still in Switzerland so..) Since I live here I can't remember 30-40 centimeters of snow in my garden at the end of march.. For my luck, we have a public holiday here tomorrow, so I can sleep it away..

Same here in the Minnesota USA, last year at this time it was 70 degrees (21 C) This morning 10 degrees (-12 C). Snowing this morning, took an extra 45 minutes to get to work. I need spring, no more SNOW!

It was broke, so I fixed it.

We (Montréal) are supposed to have a snowstorm tomorrow and Wednesday; leaving up to 30cm. The problem is not the snow, but the temperature for the next few days after that, it will be warm so it will melt fast, and the authorities might simply do minimal street cleaning maintenance for the next few days.

That's why we have the swiss clocks, so that public transport are on time. I think the watches came after public transport, which does exist here for more then 300 years at least. At that time watches were on church towers, and public transport had no time table.. On another subject, in the US middle west you can have severe weather, here it's a such called mediterranean weather zone (it's very close to Italy, and we speak Italian here...)

I've been working from home on the days it snows, thought today for sure it wouldn't be as bad. Nope I was wrong roads still a mess and traffic slow.

Wish I had the option to work from home. :sigh: The hard wall inhabitants seem to enjoy sending those “I’m working from home today” emails on days like today just to rub our cube dwelling noses in it. On the bright side, we don't have to put up with the walk in feature requests on those days.

In Arizona they request we use public transportation or work from home to reduce the pollution on very hot days.

Ouch, that sucks! Work from home days are awesome, it's nice not to be pestered every 15 minutes.

Huh, I am a cube dweller and get work from home days. There has to be a good reason for me to work from home (coworkers get to do it one day a week)

Yea means they would have to send in a formal request, think we all know how that goes...

We're having a bit of a cold snap here, as well. After 93°F yesterday, today's expected high of 86 will seem quite nippy. ;P

Yeah, it was snowing here in Calgary yesterday and boy was it ever coming down hard. One reason why I don't like snow or winter is that it's cold and the weather is always freezing when there is snow on the ground and snow can always end up going into your boots or something and make your socks wet. I just really hope that winter ends soon so that spring comes. I really like the spring because the snow melts and flowers start growing and all that fun stuff. :) I heard that spring officially comes on the 21st of March. Also, I really hope what I said made sense. :)
