They are talking about 16 inches of snow in high ground in the North. Oh goody. That's me shafted then.

I shouldn't worry, this probably Consett and things are better when they are cut off.

What about the Range Rover? Or is it just a toy that can't really handle the white stuff? ;P

It's perfectly capable of coping with the white stuff, and is an excellent motor. Sadly, Mrs Yoda will appropriate it for her needs and leave me with the RS (with it's low profile tyres which are completely useless).

Saw a great picture earlier of an old fella in Huddersfield who'd adapted his zimmer frame to fit a snow plough to the front. Can't find it now though.

I bought my daughter and her boyfriend a Segway riding experience in a local forest for her 21st birthday tomorrow - I've just had the call to say it has been cancelled because of the weather.

I've just seen that 2000 homes are without electricity in Wigtownshire. That has to be a made up place, Shirly? Just thrown in to see if people are still paying attention or not, like when they introduced Da Booty at the Olympic opening ceremony.

According to the canonical font of all knowledge[^] it does. Now, who, or what is a "Da Booty"?

Some place in Africa apparently, bordered by Eritrea - which I always thought was He-man's home planet.
