Hey, I've been developing professionally for about two years, since leaving Uni most of my education has been through Q&A sites and communities like this. So I've been reading Code Project for a few months now I thought I should actually say hello! instead of lurking in the shadows. So hey all! Hope I can get involved a little! :)

    Here be dragons.

I was brought up to respect my elders. I don't respect many people nowadays.

Welcom welcome welcome. You met Pete, Griff, Manfred and some other guys relatively active in here. Proceed to the Lounge[^] to get involved into the full procrastination this site might offer to you and meet V., Dalek Dave, Nagy and some other guys lurking around in the Lounge. You can find me in the forums, the Lounge and the Q&A section. And nearly everywhere else. Have Fun and if you have something good to make an article outta it - We'd love to see it. cheers, Marco Edit: just seen that you are already in the Lounge. Nevermind.

Hi Simon, Welcome aboard ! I believe the ancient principle "over time: what you get back is more than what you give" applies here, but what you get back may be very surprising. enjoy, Bill

“Beginning, middle, and end of birth, growth, and perfection we behold is from contraries, by contraries, and to contraries; and whatever contrariety is, there is action, reaction, there is motion, diversity, multitude, order.”

Giordano Bruno, cosmologist, philosopher, burned at the stake for heresy on February 17, 1600. When condemned, he said to his Inquisitors: “Perhaps you pronounce this verdict against me with greater fear than I receive it.”

We need to induct you in the brotherhood. Send us beer. Lots of them. That's the most important sacred ritual here. Second most is send bacon to those who eat it. For each person who doesn't, share gets equally distributed among others. Welcome!

There are those who don't do BACON, but be careful before you taunt them. As as the case with the nefarious Death By Chocolate, if you cross her she will pun-ish you. And bring gin. Lots and lots of gin. Did we mention the gin?

Hey, I've been developing professionally for about two years, since leaving Uni most of my education has been through Q&A sites and communities like this. So I've been reading Code Project for a few months now I thought I should actually say hello! instead of lurking in the shadows. So hey all! Hope I can get involved a little! :)
