    We have a very picky cat. Dij will eat Wiskas Fish (but no other form of Whiskas, Kit-ekay fish (under sufferance) and would happily starve rather than touch anything with "felix" written on the can. So it was with great delight that I found a different cat food he will eat : Butchers. Great! Even better, the company sent me a voucher for £3 off a pack of six cans. So I was passing a big branch of a supermarket which I was assured sells the stuff and went in. Lo! There was the product! At £2.50 per pack. Ok, lets see what happens...and a rather surprised and confused shop assistant takes the voucher, scans it, and hands me 50p... I do like lazy programmers:

    costToCustomer = productCost - voucherAmount;

    No sign of a limit check in there at all... :laugh: First time a supermarket has paid me to take goods way!

    For Easter I bought my missus a pack of 6 Cadbury Cream Eggs. There were only 5 inside. So I emailed Cadbury explaining this and saying I'd been getting earache from the wife ever since. Yesterday a voucher for £3 of Cadbury products turned up. I'll have to see if I can pull off the same trick.

      Did you try Royal Canin food for your cat? I think they are better than Wiskas. There are 2 types of Royal Canin food normal(sold in the pet stores) and veterinarian (sold in the vet stores).

        Never seen it in Wales - it may be a Bulgarian local manufacturer.

                  Any limit? Would have been awesome if you told the clerk "Oh, I did not just want the one pack. I want the whole lot and anything you may have in the back" :-D

                    I participate in a customer satisfaction program at the local store. Because of that, they've given me an electronic voucher that will give me 5% discount at one shopping occasion. I used that a long time ago when I got it, but every time I've shopped there afterwards, they have asked me if I wanted to use the 5% voucher. I always say yes. Seems like the "Used" status is not being updated correctly in their system. I must admit that I have neglected to inform them about this apparent programming miss... ;-) Unfortunately, there's also an expiration date, so in around 14 more days, the 5% discount will dissappear for good (presumeably). But by that time, I hope to have a new 5% voucher that hopefully works the same way (or doesn't work, if you will)!

                            Felix dry food is great for ours - the tiger loves the indoor version. The cans are not touched at all. Cats are very picky - you can figure it upon the amount of meat in the can - felix is only around 3% or so... get some with more meat in it.

                                    For a faceless supermarket I might condone this, but for a local shop that you're presumably trying to support with your custom, I'd tell them that their system is broken. A 5% discount is probably wiping out their profit on everything you buy.

I do like lazy programmers:

                                      costToCustomer = productCost - voucherAmount;

                                      No sign of a limit check in there at all... :laugh: First time a supermarket has paid me to take goods way!

                                      Here in the Untied Snakes, we have several supermarket chains in considerable competition with each other. At one time they used to offer double coupons, even triple on some occasions. ... which is to say ... I've done better than that!

                                        You're right of course, but this is no local store it is a big supermarket chain we're talking about...

The supermarket assist will not admit the voucher sold by they even though it was really thing if you can not show the check in our city... It's quite different attituation about the credit. Thinging about there more and more security problem on food...What the hell thing... :( :( :(
