Turning into a (static) electricity transformer today?
-
Whatever I touch since today morning, I experience a constant static electricity. Is this something with the combination of apparel and jewellery or other health/weather conditions?

Wow, that's shocking.
There are only 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't.
I think because of some unknown tension and anxiety for the past two days, have been skipping food, which I apprehend is causing some sort of dehydration. Now trying to cope up by adding a few sugar packets to the water. :)

--Brisingr AerowingI have this problem in the clothes department of Tesco. Something to do with pushing the trolley on those floors charges the trolley quite high, so I have to 'bump' it into ugly children or I get a shock when I touch it later. Doesn't happen anywhere else, even with the same trolley on 'normal' flooring.

Just don't give him any static about it.

When they built the new SA Air Force headquarters, in around '95, the building had three above ground office floors, and six below ground command centre and flight control centres etc. E.g. the 'big screen' and all they radar terminals etc. plus our tech workshops were on floors -1 to -3. The lower floors were less floors than big rooms, e.g. battery room, generator, etc. The underground section was like an upside down pyramid, with -6 only having room for a diesel tank or something. But I digress; the office floors were marvellously reticulated for every LAN and power need imaginable, but nobody had given any thought to making sure the carpet was static free. So, every two weeks or so, a couple of us techs would take some of those pressure sprayers and spray all the office carpets with StaySoft, a fabric softener with anti-static additives. Lots of network cards were sacrificed above that carpet. Our uniform black dress shoes complimented the carpet perfectly and generated amazing amounts of static power.

I have this problem in the department store Harrods. Something to do with the thick pile carpets in there, so I tend to do my groceries as Fortnum and Mason these days and usually manage to get by in Selfridges for the rest.

--Brisingr AerowingHi Vasudevan, Clearly the kundalini force is blocked at your anahata chakra, and you are not prepared, yet, to allow the constricted nadis around it to open to permit vayu and prana to flow through. This is a warning sign, but, don't worry, if you immediately discontinue celibacy, this will pass. yours, Bill
“Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart, and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms, and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.”
