A Sony Vaio Ultrabook. Currently taking ownership of the HDD from my old Dell, which was a pain to get out. I will then do a little work and comfigure my computer for use.

Congratulations, Brisingr, Hope it goes well with your new squeeze. You certainly did finish screwing Dell quickly. yours, Bill

“Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart, and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms, and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.”

Yeah. I like this Sony computer. It is fast. I am currently getting it set up for development, and getting other apps installed. The screen size on this thing is 15.5", with full HD capabilities. And it is a smudge resistant touchscreen. 8GB RAM, 1TB Hybrid HDD, Intel Core i7 2 GHz. And is is a brushed aluminum case. Very modern looking. My father currently hates me because I have a better computer than he does. But hell, I needed this because final exams are in two weeks! All of my stuff is on the computer! I did get a SATA -> USB 3.0 adapter so I could get data off of the HDD from my dell, as well as use it as an external drive.

Lucky >.>. Every developer would love to have that computer or at least a laptop with those specs.

Simple Greetings and Regards, Brandon Programming in C and C++ now, now developing applications, services and drivers (and maybe some kernel modules...psst kernel-mode drivers...psst). Yeah. The CPU is 2 Physical cores, but thanks to Hyperthreading, each core can act as up to 32 logical cores. It is currently set to 4 logical cores, but I can change it if needed. I likely won't need to though, as this thing is FAST! It loads VS2012 in less than a second!
