[rant] Well, one mahoosive set of proposals for change in the IT dept where I work and I think I may move on. All vacancies canned, plus 10% job cuts, and there is now twice as many people 'managing the relationship' with the business area I primarily work for as there are developers who know the system... ...mind you, when I say 'system' that is an overstatement. Outsourced and done on the cheap its a steaming pile that wouldn't have been acceptable in almost any other place I've worked and after more than a year of trying to get them to see how bad it is, I'm just not sure I have the will to carry on trying. So then, CV, bugger! No copy of my most recent CV, that's on the laptop my ex wouldn't let me have a copy of the data off of when we split last year so working from a really old one from 4 years ago. Ah well, at least I seem to have rediscovered some motivation and I have a week off next week. [/rant] Sorry for that, just felt the need to 'express'... and relax, time for :java:

Back in 2002 during the dot com crash, it was more "When one door closes, the others slam shut."
