OK, a puzzle for you: It's 17C outside and 27C in the office. Where am I and what time of year it is?

Look, f|_|ck it, i'm just going to come right out and say it. Months and months ago, you and I had an exchange that involved a certain cricket player. That was public, so will this be. I was unpleasant, aggressive and to be honest - down-right rotten with the things I levelled at you, Nagy. Who gives a fark about a cricket player, I know you more than he - and I dont know you much more than not at all. Support of one over another simply for the sake of supporting a fellow country-man is frankly Neanderthal-like behaviour. (which I did) Life's elephanting shite with no requirement to be at work from monday to friday. You know it, I know it, millions know it. Difficult times at home with the nearest and dearest makes this time one of the loneliest, coldest, most horrible times one can have memories of. A holidays is nice, but a holiday from no-work is a hundred million times more cheerful. I cant wait! (either?) You've worn your heart on your sleeve, told us personal things about your home-life situation and frankly, I've been dumbfounded by the openness and honesty which they have shown. Um, guess what I'm trying to say is I hope you can accept my apology. Glenn McGrath, meh whatever. Your little toe is funnier than him. The world needs laughter more than they need cricket! You supply it in spades. :-D :thumbsup: For that I'm really grateful. Of course, I'm just some other anonymous internet fool, far removed from the life you live. The truth is, I've regretted that exchange for months, felt really rotten for the way I picked what I deemed may be a sore-point. I'm sorry, plain and simple. It was without excuse, not should it be excused. But.... It is vitally important to tell people how we feel. A surprising number of times in life we find we were viewed by someone in a particular way after the fact, yet had no idea. Expressing appreciation and apologising are vital for a world worth living in. You have my appreciation for your mad-cap posts and antics, you have an unreserved apology for that crappy day. Hope the missus and the girls keep you cheerful until(and after) work grabs you again mon-fri. Hope the lappy works out okay too. If you're inclined, have a glass or four for me at the fair if you return. (how pissed are you? I still can't make heads nor tails of your last post. hehe haha) Regards, Simon.
