It is a sad fact that it has been so long since this last happened that I actually noticed. I don't read enough any more, I blame Reddit and not myself :). Assuming CP is like FB, I know you are all dying to find out what it was: heteroclitic[^] Heard on the wireless during "In our time", totally unnecessary/pretentious use but there it is.

That was a very interesting show today; not that I understood more that 17.4% of it.

I only listened to about 17.4% of it, on the way to work. I should get the podcast, when it's good it's really good.

Signature construction in progress. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Curiously, this wasn't the definition she meant. This week's subject was "Levi Strauss" (the anthropologist not the jeans-maker). He went of to Sao Paulo to teach "Marxism, Geology and Antropology"(IIRC - the first two were in the list), the speaker went on to say "this looks heteroclitic, but really..." and made some tenuous connection that the all represented stratigrqphied things: Class system in Marxism, hierarchy in anthropology and, well actual stratigraphy for geology. He must have studied baking too, because cakes can come in layers.
