I don't think it's a translation, he seems to have composed it in English. Non-native English poets do exist. Native-speaking poetry enthusiasts may not like their work though :-)

Hi Nish, Indeed, poetry is a universal cultural form, and, in many cultures today, poetry is still a vibrant living reality that has a powerful social, and even political force. But, to be able to understand the subtle nuances of poetry in a language that's not our "mother tongue," requires a very special consciousness. And so, we rely on translators, who are often poets themselves, to recreate the profound depths of the sub-text of another language's poetry. Awkwardly clambering up the sheer cliff-face of time with the help of great translators, we can peer back into the past, and experience the almost miraculous ... when a voice speaks, and sings, to our human heart from centuries ago. Our minds can somehow be "touched" by the shadows of Homer, Sappho, "The Song of Songs," Catullus, Kalidasa, Rumi, Kabir, Dante, Basho, Shakespeare, Rilke ... and on ... and on. We can experience a flickering transient moment that resonates, and glimmers, with the primordial reality buried deep under our conscious minds. ars longa, vita brevis Bill

“Humans are amphibians: half spirit, half animal; as spirits they belong to the eternal world; as animals they inhabit time. While their spirit can be directed to an eternal object, their bodies, passions, and imagination are in continual change, for to be in time, means to change. Their nearest approach to constancy is undulation: repeated return to a level from which they repeatedly fall back, a series of troughs and peaks.” C.S. Lewis

I am sure translations are good, but I was just commenting how the OP actually wrote this originally in English. Griff assumes that it may have sounded better in the OP's native language but this was always an English poem, although to some it may seem like randomly generated words put together in the form of a poem (Griff's words basically).
