you would need a Male Printer & a Female Printer and some then some assembly required ;)

I'll wait for the 4D model :-D
Scissors cuts paper, paper covers rock, rock crushes lizard, lizard poisons Spock, Spock smashes scissors, scissors decapitates lizard, lizard eats paper, paper disproves Spock, Spock vaporizes rock, and as it always has, rock crushes scissors. :)

I find this concept machine a little weird. Perhaps its too difficult for me to imagine a working 3D printer.

Meh, You can already get places with 3D printers to print things for you. I know my university has a high quality 3D printer that anyone can use (it's about $7 per cubic inch of material though X| ). There's also a store ~15 miles away that specializes in 3D printers and will print things on request (not sure what they charge). The upside to both of these is you submit it to them, and just come pick it up when it's done, no need to stick around for the whole process.

Actually many 3D printers use 3D printed parts. Not entirely, just certain custom pieces like joints. So partially, yes.
That's like chickens using egg parts. Maybe, in the furtherance of this technology, we will finally learn the answer to that age-old question.
I wanna be a eunuchs developer! Pass me a bread knife!

Or may be we can call it Evolution, paired with cloning, like YACCs ?
